[RC] Tack colors - k s swigart

PURPLE!

Purple won't look good on a chestnut, so if you choose purple it will be to
suit yourself, not your horse.

Of course, your horse doesn't care what color he wears or if it looks good, so
no reason not to suit yourself.

So go ahead and go with purple if you like purple, but only people who like
purple enough to think it looks good on anything will think it looks good.

Otherwise, some variation on green (e.g. teal and/or turquoise also work) will
best complement your horse's color.

Blue won't clash the way that anything with any red in it (ranging from purple
to orange as well as pink) will.

Personally, I wouldn't choose black as it can be too overpowering on a chestnut
(looks best on grays but can be used on bays as well) and you ohave to be
careful in the way you choose from the assortment of browns as some of them
work and some don't.
