after all the posts in the past few days I thought would share this afternoons 
Medical Evacuation.    

This was on hwy 9 in the in Santa Cruz Mts near the summit at 2600 ft.  40 
something crashed his motorcycle.   That is my rescue unit parked in the 
foreground.  This is the only hard surface all weather landing zone we have and 
it is still only 4 helicopter lengths long.  he was alive when we loaded him 
into the helicopter.
