Chiropractic frees up those joints. People think of it as "bone popping" but that's not what chiros do. They free up the tendons and ligament structure. I've seen several cases of "locking stifles" that got dramatically better with good, regular chiropractic care.

 So doing cavaletti exercises, etc, can sometimes remedy
the problem. Even something as simple as step-overs in
the doorways of stalls (which I have) or around water
troughs can help.

In the case of this horse, it might have been her doing
too much too quickly, so when she starts up again, more
careful conditioning/exercises may help. It depends if
that can overcome her physiology.
