[RC] Arabic horse names - Maryanne Gabbani

With a barn name of Scout, you can have various names about leadership.

Off the top of my head there are a number of names:
Raees (ra-eees emphasis on second syllable) means chief or head of a =20
team
Kasheff (ka-sheff likewise emphasized) means someone who checks =20
things out, but it also means colloquially "flashlight" so you could =20
hear the odd snicker on introductions to a bunch of Arabs...if that's =20=

not likely, it's not a bad name.
Omda (Oam-da emphasis on the first) is the head man of a village or =20
area and the decider of issues. I think that would be a very cool =20
name for a nice gelding, having had a few that certainly displayed =20
the characteristics.

In any case you might want to add el to the beginning of the name as =20
in the leader, the investigator, the boss.... I'm consulting some =20
friends with more classical skill than I have for others.
