RE: [RC] US Rider roadside assistance - Dolores ArsteI can verify that US
Rider Insurance will tow anything. I was at a friend's house and when I stopped
for gas the computer on my truck
went out. I have one
of those on board switches that you can program for more power. Not likely that
I was going to find someone to fix that.
After looking around
to see if there was some way that I could stay overnight with the horses, the US
Rider Representative said to me
"What would be the
best solution for you" I said to be towed home. They towed my truck and trailer
160 miles to my doorstep and
didn't charge me a
thing. I gave the driver extra because I couldn't imagine how hard a task it was
to tow my truck, towing my trailer
with 3 horses on
board that distance and then turn around and have to drive back. It was very
cool!
The new computer was
shipped to me next day, my truck was happy again and the horses and I were all
fine for the experience.
I recommend US Rider
to anyone who will listen. PS You can get the maps from the Rand McNally website
