[RC] Traction on wooden bridges - Stacy Baxter

How about in the dry season sprinkling wet concrete (the kind with rocks in it) onto the bridge.  It sure has stuck to my wheel barrow!

Last year I was walking my horse across a slick bridge when he slipped and all four feet went in four different directions.  His feet stopped at the outside edges of the bridge, and luckily there was a little lip on both sides.  He looked like Bambi sliding on the ice pond.  Thank goodness there was that little lip, he would have gone right off the bridge.
