LOL, too funny! I've seen Parelli demonstrations several times and have been underwhelmed each time. One demo he rode his horse backwards the entire time! great, I want to go forwards.
 
My horse has only left me once. He always stays with me when I fall. The only  time he left me was in the Oklahoma mud when we were running with the hotshoes (years ago). I stopped and dismounted to slow us down. When I tried to mount back up again, he couldn't wait for me to get in the saddle. He headed down the trail. He was bound and determined to top 10, I guess, LOL...
 
Another rider found him about a mile from where he left me and she ponied him back to me.
