RE: [RC] Aluminum & Trailer Floors? - Jean

I have had a Hart all aluminum two horse tag-a-long for 9 years now. I love
it! The floors are matted and I pull them up to wash the floor once a year.
They pretty much look like they did when it was new. It's a fairly heavy
trailer but my horse is a BelgianX and weighs about 1500-1600# and his QH
buddy weighs about 1100#. I wanted sturdy. The walls are extruded fiberglass
and aluminum. I have found it to be safe, strong and quiet. We had a friend
who deals in structural aluminum look at the specs and he said it was
stronger than needed so that sold us.
