[RC] Alfalfa in Winter - k s swigart

Yes it is true that adding alfalfa hay (rather than grass hay, or even grains 
which aren't as good at this as even grass hay) to your horse's diet increases 
heat production in the digestion process, so it can be a good way to keep your 
horses warmer in the winter time.
