RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] 2007 National Championship - Jeremy Olson

Probabaly not for a 50, but if my 100 mile horse was going along nice I would. We usually have a few horses to bring along and we hear Idaho is beautiful so we plan on coming.

Thanks for your commments, it's always good to hear pros and cons. Would you
actually travel all the way out to Idaho for a 1 day 50?

Steph

Hi Steph,

Here are my thoughts on a multiday National Championship. I think that if it
was a 2 day ride it might be possible, but I prefer the 1 day format. The
reason I say this is the simple fact of time. I just returned from Virginia
and this years NC. The trip out, back and the time at the ride itself took
exactly one week. If you added 3,4 or 5 day ride in I would not be able to
attend. The trip out to Idaho from Iowa will be long and then the ride and
return trip, I would be looking at 2 weeks or more. This would be to long
away from the farm and work and I think that others might have the same
problem.

IMHO
