And that my friend is the 64,000 dollar question! As you point out we 
easterners have always loaded up our horses and driven west. I suspect 
if you look at the ROC (which did give away a trailer) in the percentage 
of starters from the East when it was held in the west (which was most 
of the time) was much greater than the percentage of the westerners when 
it was held in the east (one time).
