Sorry- that stuff won't kill the mane mite.  Nor will conventional oral 
wormers, as the
oral consentration isn't high enough to get into the skin to kill these buggers.
Believe me - all the Universities on the East Coast were working on this 
problem when it
surfaced about 10 years ago -

It has DE and garlic and a few other things. My horse was mite and knat free 
all summer.I ordered the 10 lb tub and it will last a few years. LEAH,
