[RC] USB Battery Charger for Garmin 301/305 GPS/HR - Roger Rittenhouse

Just saw a few questions about the G305/301

Here is the link on ebay for a USB battery Box $10

You take your use PC cable with you to the ride. In the longer vet check hold, plug the cable into the GPS and then into the USB port on the box. You will get a good charge in about 30 minutes. May have to do it at every vet check on the 100. The crew will have to do this.
Box runs on 4-AA batteries Use HD Alkaline NOT rechargeable.

Other point - yes I have the lead wire adapter kits for any and all human strip transmitters. Yes for the G301/305 $75 see web site

I have a G305. Been using it for a month. I do not care for it. Number display is too small. The font for HR and some other data is thin and small. Add to that the short battery life (10 hr) if you are lucky more like 7. I really like my G301 much better. You can get the G301 for a very good price on ebay.
I do not have signal problems here, I use a high gain amplified antenna on my helmet. It worked all summer in the woods no problem.

I 'may' let a slightly used G305, ready to go for use with your horse for a very fair price. Looks like the best deal on ebay for a G305 is about $250 (with shipping), add my kit to that price. If interested email or call. Note I offer this as a one way deal no returns. Warranty back to Garmin. It works great -- but you buy it, its yours.
If I don't sell it - I will take to the AERC Convention and do an auction ? :)
