[RC] another form of confinement at ridecamps? - Marta Kozlowska

i saw some horses tied up at dog trials last weekend by using a long
lead that's staked into the ground. it allows the horse 'free'
movement while keeping it from wondering off. it reminded me of the
farm horses back home which were always set out to graze that way.
somehow i never heard of this method being used at ridecamps? is there
a reason for it? does anyone do it that way?
thanks!
marta
