[RC] hoof supplements - Kathie Ford

Hi all, I've found two hoof supplements that I've actually had great luck with.  HT20 and Focus HF by Source.

My first horse, Spirit a TB cross we think; never really were sure, had terrible feet. No wall what so ever and just worn down to nothing.  Couldn't even put a shoe on to help her. I adopted her from a humane society in Turlock years ago.

So I discovered HT20, which was recommended to me by a nice gal in Almaden Valley (Browns Arabian years ago) and after 6 months there was a difference. Then later, could put shoes on to help her feet grow out.  Kept her on this supplement for about a year or so.

Later, found a wonderful farrier who sadly passed away this past year, who recommended her going barefoot "if she was his horse".  Cause I asked him straight and that's what he said.

Since she was mostly ridden in a very nice sandy area I felt it was worth a try.  Later I switched her to the Focus HF.  Years later her feet are great and she is barefoot most of the year., including this year where she's been barefoot all year...plus the farriers I've had say she has "good feet"...which was absolute music to my ears after what she had in the beginning.

So those two supplements I'd definitely recommend.  Her feet aren't pretty but they are strong and functional and she's been sound for years.  Was a long shot but it worked.

Just thought I'd share that due to the positive outcome of it!
