Please don't be so disheartened. I know it is easy to do when you are not face to face with those that are in disagreement with the intent of a post. However, remember, "this too shall pass." You add more positive than negative and that is the importance of the issue at hand.
If everyone quit this venue due to getting their toes stepped on. There wouldn't be a venue! So, soak your feet, take a sip of your favorite beverage, know that you will live to see another day, and most of all you will live to post again! :)
