In SEDRA it means you get miles. It also means you are finished at the 10 minute check after you finish. You don't have to wait around an hour or so for the judging. When I do SEDRA rides I always ride for mileage only. I get to enjoy the day with my horse and not worry about CTR scoring. It's a nice day to spend on your horse.
