Anyone know if they like to jump or? My 'dressage' trained daughter says they 'don't' jump. I have been told that my 5 month old colt jumped the horse trailer/bumper pull connection-not only once but twice and cleared it well. It really impressed my friend who was trying to load both mamma and baby into the stock trailer.

They absolutely jump. I am seen it numerous times on trail rides in our gaited only group. My best horse, well at least my favorite one, is a mft with about 65 twh bloodline. One of the reasons I was able to buy him was that the people that owned him before absolutely did not ride or work with him enough and without that he is all go and pent up. He jumped a trailer hitch without being asked to.
Boy can they jump.
Keith
