[RC] [RC] TWH....are then pinfired? - now Arabs whipped in stalls - Debbie KirchnerI showed Arabs for YEARS as a Kid, graduated in 76, I NEVER used these tactics... but I know it is done, and I HATE it, I was so proud of our horses that they were not treated this way, at least not at home... I have my suspicion about the trainers though, now that I am an adult... were they that way then??? Not sure, I was always told our horses were treated with dignity and shown naturally, but.... ya never really know the truth when you are a kid.... I even was present when an Arabian Judge used Ginger on her stallion to take pictures... I scolded her, Told her in front of all of her employees, that SHE SHOULD KNOW BETTER, I was there to help clean up horses for pictures... I told them not to pay me, I cleaned the Stallion out after his picture shot, Then left... I am also appalled by the lenght of toe they have on the Arabs now too... the fact that the horses were not allowed out of the barn, I also noticed the tails were THIN, not think and full, they just did not look healthy from this kind of treatment... all I can say is, "good grief, what happened to showing the Arab as a natural horse"???? --
