[RC] Las Vegas horse camping/riding sought? - Lucy Chaplin Trumbull

Over the up-n-coming Holiday weekend, I'm taking
delivery of my new endurance horse (yay). He's
coming up from AZ and I'm coming down from CA and
we figured that we could meet in the middle to make
the exchange.

Rather than drive all that way just to load a horse
in a trailer, we also figured that we might as well
make a horse camping/riding weekend out of it.

Can anyone offer any pointers as to somewhere we could
go in the Las Vegas surrounds where we can camp and
ride?

I'm thinking possibly the Mt Charleston area, although
I don't know anything about it.

Any ideas? or better suggestions?
