I
have a 16 yr old mare that was on the thin side for nearly 2 years, good
appetite, good quality feed, didn’t improve until I did the Panacur purge(actually I used SafeGuard
liquid) and she finally put weight on. Now I’m cutting back on her feed! Same
story with my friend’s 19 yr old horse, that was always thin, he thought
that’s just the way he was, but during ride season he’d lose even
more. 2 weeks after the SafeGuard purge, the weight
began creeping on, and now after about 6 weeks, he’s put on 50-75#.

though, that I've noticed recently is that he seems to be a = little
thinner than I would expect.He has
excellent appetite though, = and I've increased his feed.He gets senior pelleted
(complete) feed, = plus rice bran, and free choice grass hay.
