RE: [RC] generator power - David LeBlanc

We use the 3000 watt model to charge our rig, and it will power our LQ AC. I don't know how many BTU, but I figure they're mostly the same. It will not run the AC and the microwave at the same time. I have no idea how many watts a 6 gallon water heater needs - our's is propane, which I'd prefer. The quiet Honda models are very nice, and it is small enough for 2 people to move without too much grief.

Subject: [RC] generator power

Can a Honda 2000 watt portable generator power a 13,500 BTU a/c in an LQ?  Also can it power a 6 gallon electric water heater?  I figure some of you guys would know!

Thanks!
Dawn
