RE: [RC] Pain killers - Spencer, Maryann LTC USSOCOM USASOC

Title: [RC] Pain killers
There are plenty of non mind changing pain meds that can be taken to ease the pains associated with 'OVER DOING' which is pretty much what most are doing here.

When one is having real pain, most of the usually prescribed drugs do NOT put your brain into dysfunction.  When 'drugs' are taken for recreation that is different and changes the minds abilities to evaluate and judge.

Fatique is much more mind altering.  IMHO

In response to Bob's comment:"No one, not even superior me, can function
in a completely rational manner while under the influence of these pain
killers! Your senses are dulled, i.e. PAIN KILLERS!! "

Actually I've always believed that pain is nature's way of telling you
that you are not supposed to be doing something.

I don't take them during a ride but ride anyway. Occasionally do
afterwards so I don't look too lame going up to get my completion
award...:-)
