RE: [RC] well it was inevitable - Kristen A Fisher

I spoke with a woman here in TX about coming off her mare [I was behind her once when her mare jumped left and she was standing on the ground on the right]. She said she had done that before but landed much harder and broke the top of her femur :(

That reminds me of the time one of my sisters went forward over her horses head and landed on her feet still holding the reins. As for me, I got lucky and my boy just stares at me in disbelief as I am laying on the ground instead of running off.

She then landed perfectly on her feet like a cat and took off to catch the horse.  I wish I had it on video  !!!!
