Re: [RC] well it was inevitable - Amy Major

I have fallen more in the last two months than I care to count.  For my guy it's turkeys.  Dogs, ATVs, small children screaming, trucks, cars, tractors, deer, crows etc, etc, etc.  NO PROBLEM.  A turkey (even when he can see them ahead of time) sends him into a tail spin.

He is usually just a freezer when he spooks but the other day there was a turkey in a tree that made a big movement and we did a little spin and on my butt (well padded at least) I go.  He's a good boy though, looked at me puzzled and then trotted far enough away from the horse-eating turkey to feel safe and waited for me there. I only suffered a slight sprained ankle that was better in a few days.

Oh, horse eating piles of leaves in the trail can sometimes be a problem too.  One can never be too careful. :)
Hope you get better soon.

Too bad we aren't all as young and flexible as some.  For instance.  My daugter, Joni, came off of Cash Sunday at the house.  We were conditioning (live on a big farm) and we came around a hedgerow and there was a black cow.  Thank goodness Joni was in front, or I might be broken.  Anyway, Cash does a 180 and Joni came UP and Over him.  Looked like one of those martial arts movie with the super natural gymnastics.  She then landed perfectly on her feet like a cat and took off to catch the horse.  I wish I had it on video  !!!!

Good luck healing. :))
