Whilst we?re on the subject (and I?m probably going to be flamed 
anyway)?..WHEN are you guys gonna catch up with the rest of the world 
and go metric??

Aw come on Tracey, you've gotta admit that 100 miles is such a *nice* 
round number compared to 160. Mark my words...100k will eventually 
become everyone else's "classic" distance. That way they can finish 
before dark and have a "big sounding" number too! 

The only people I know who use "K" over here are the runners because 
it makes them feel like they run farther. Tell the average Joe you 
did a 10K and they'll think you ran close to 10 miles. :-)
