Re: [RC] Profile of one person who would like to do a 100 - Angie Fura

I think a 100 is very doable for the Trace Tribute, especially if SERA donated glowsticks. That would be a nice save on our ride budget.  We have a lot of wonderful trails and dirt roads that would be perfect for it.

But before I take that on, I need more experience with that distance.   I plan to focus on getting that under my belt in 2007.  Hopefully in 2008, the Trib will include a 75 or a 100 mile option.

To get this experience, I think the fastest way would be to volunteer at a 100 mile ride.  Since vacation time and expenses are at a premium for me, I may not be able to do that as often as I would like.  Anyone have any other ideas?

P.S. Could you do a 100 mile out and back on the Trace trail? That would
be fun...for the riders. :-))
