[RC] Thirty Mile Stage Stop Endurance Ride - PAUL WAGNER
This is very hard for me to do but I must Cancel the Thirty Mile Stage Stop Endurance Ride.
Because of the extreme fire danger in our area between the landowners and my self, we have had to make this decision.
It's very hard to do but nature seems to have worked against us this year. All of us need to keep the safety of the people, Horses, the livestock and people's homes and ranches in the area in our minds as we assess the fire danger. The fire danger right now is the highest recorded in the area in the past 40 years. There is the combination of high grass in certain areas and trees dried out from many years of drought and so many days of extreme heat. Since the fire fighting resources are spread throughout the state now from Stevensville, MT to Jordan, MT. Thirty mile cannot count on having help if there is a fire. Thirty Mile ranch has had two small fires so far.
