In response to:"Just for me,  how many QH finished Tevis?   I have been 
given one and will soon hit the trail.  No intentions of doing Tevis but 
wonder what they might be able to accomplish.

A QH has the most completions for any breed of horse at Tevis.

" The record for completions by one horse is thirteen times, set in 1998 
by Pat Chappel on Thunders Lightning Bar, a 20 year old Quarter Horse mare."
