[RC] Anyone else ever ripped off their truck tailgate? - Sharon LevasseurI was hauling my gooseneck trailer on Saturday when apparently my truck tailgate fell open, and at the next corner the trailer ripped the tailgate off (it was off the hinges, but still connected by one cable). The left hinge on the truck is bent so it's facing backwards, the left side of the tailgate is crunched out a bit, and the pin for the cable on the right side is messed up. I will take it in for an estimate soon, but meanwhile... who else has this happened to? How bad was the damage and how much did it cost to fix? I have a 1999 GMC 1500. Thanks, -Sharon L.
