That settles it, except what is the benefit of using it as a feed/supplement? Is the fat content/protein mix?

The stuff for $9 a bag is probably not stabilized; thus, rancid before it left the mill; thus, worthless as an equine feed, but probably okay for mulching your roses.

So what do you all think of rice bran and what should I pay for it. I heard others say they bought it for around $ 9 per 50lb bag of 15% fat , but my local feed store had it at $22 but it was 22% fat.
