[RC] [RC] Question about not urinating during a 50 - Sherman

My daughter's mare would hold her pee for 8-10 hours on conditioning rides, and when we got home she'd wait till we let her go to "her tree" to pee. If we kept her tied to the trailer she wouldn't pee. Finally when we had to stay at camp the night before a ride she started peeing away from home, but, for the first couple 50s she still wouldn't pee on the trail. I'm sure she was hoping we'd get home fast enough for her to go under "her tree". Finally, long hours into a 50, a little girl in front of us had to pee. When my daughter's mare saw the little girl peeing, she did the same & has been peeing all over the trails ever since. Pretty strange, heh?

Anyway, it never caused any metabolic problems. Are there any problems associated with infrequent urination, assuming there is no underlying problem, just a mental thing?
