[RC] HiTie and left side of Sundowner Valuelite trailer (yr 2000) - Alison Dunn

I have a HiTie on the right hand side of my trailer, on the beam just past 1/2 way back. (The HiTie that folds to the side - not down.) (The trailer is a 2 horse slant with a dressing room and 'escape' door.) I have a friend that wants to start coming along to endurance rides, and would like to put one on the left side also. Unfortunately, the logical place to put it has the hinge to the rear tack compartment, and the edge of the window in the way. My trailer guy said that was one of the main beams. If I move one beam to the rear and mount one of the fold down HiTies, is that beam as strong as the one by the window? Or what have you all done out there for mounting HiTies on the left on the Sundowner ValueLite trailer? Thanks for any info!
