And I did say that what I was told was hearsay .  While I hadn't researched
it yet looks like someone beat me to that.  It was many years back I was
told something to the effect about European (not British necessarily-but I
don't think it matters) not racing their horses as young as we do.  I
recalled it as 4 or 5 and after sending realized thta it had to be 3 and 4
at the most.  Again, that was a long time ago and mabye but doubt it, was
true once.  Obviously it is not the case.
