[RC] Buckin' hay / Backs - Rebecca Hackworth

Yeah....good help is hard to find. Back in High School, 2 (girls)
bucked all of the hay off of 20 acres the FFA Chapter had planted.
One would drive, the other would toss, and we would switch off every
so often. I used to be able to get them 3 high by myself. Not
anymore. 30 years in the Nursing profession....back is shot.

First time I blew the back.... I just turned on a linolium floor
with those old crepe soles. Foot did not pivot. Back out for weeks.
Worst time : Bent over bathroom counter to soder a wire. Couldn't
stand up. Had to crawl on hands and knees to the phone. Was
seriously in bed for 2 days and took several weeks to be back to
normal.

Strengthening the ABS are probably the single most important thing.

I function at nearly 100% but I am very careful with HOW I lift
ANYTHING.

BEND THOSE KNEES...

Riding doesn't hurt my back at all, thank goodness.
