[RC] Swanton Ride - Melody Wong

Thanks to the McCrary family, all the volunteers and vets for putting on an awesome ride.

It is one of the most beautiful rides you can go on.

Next year will be the 25th!!! Anniversary.  (We should have a big party.)  Unfortunately it may be the last for the 100 mile ride if they do not get more riders to make all the effort of clearing trail and organizing the extra 25 miles worth it.

Please put it on your must do list for next year.  Condition for it well in advance so there are no excuses.  Plan your ride calendar in accordance.  In my opinion, it is right up there with Tevis.  Less chaos and less cost too.  This may be your last chance to ride the Swanton Pacific 100 and see the wonderful scenery from the coastal mountains, the incredible golden sunsets, and dance with the cows at night.  There are not too many rides where your crew can enjoy the beautiful central California coastline and play on the beach in between vet checks.

Thanks again to the McCrary family!

Done Tevis, done Swanton……whew…. Virginia City next,

Melody

Oh, by the way, thanks to:

Terry Woolley Howe for putting on a new 75, 100 elevator ride in September in the PS region

AND the Robinson family for planning a new 50, 75, 100 elevator ride in November in the PS also.

Those will be nice tune-ups for next year’s Swanton 100.

Don’t forget to sign up for the 100 mile club/program in your regions.
