How well does it hold up to UV degeneration? Down here in the tropics we have two problems - lightning tends to like to fry metal electric fencing. At least once a year I have to replace a section of wire that has been vaporized by lightning. The other problem is the UV tends to eat anything with any sort of polymer, vinyl or plastic.

I'm looking for some options for a single strand electric.
