Re: [RC] Hill training vs. flat - Sisu West Ranch

Remember Tom Ivers preaching about the "law of specificity"? By this he meant that the basic training for the event had to be very similar to the event.

Hill work is great, but if you are going to race on the flat you have to do mostly flat work. The converse is also true. If you are going to do Tevis or the Big Horn you need to do hill work, even if you live in a place with no hills.
