I was visiting Zephyr’s chiropractor yesterday and
found out they’ve got a cute 7yo bay Arab gelding boarded there that is
for sale. Apparently he’s got a really good conditioning base, a
really solid mind (very sweet personality too), and some natural horsemanship
training. He’s about 14.3h, nice and lean, and seems well built to
me. They think he’d be great at endurance or CTR, he’s been
ridden on 15-25 mile rides mostly trotting, and never seems to get tired.
The down side is, he’s “from away” ... not
sure where ... but it must be a good market for horses because the owners paid
$8k for him. They would like to get that amount back.
