[RC] Sand and shoes - Amy Cieri

Heck yeah, the sand is worse in my opinion, wears the shoes right off, and I've done the OD in many forms as well as Ft.Valley and No Frills  (in all the diffrent ride sites!).
The sand is so abrasive, the rocks just ding you up a bit more. I never used pads on any of my horses for those OD rides. They all survived. Also never when without a fresh pair to ANY ride.
I'm still in amazement of these NJ horses and their abilities. Go Jeanne DiVico!!! Flatland NJ horse came in 4th in the 100. Tough as nails...or gristle as her sister would say. Only a sister can call a sister a piece of gristle and come out grinning!
"No crew after 2!!!!"
