[RC] Saddle fit/ leathers - rides2far

In theory the cam-lock buckles seem like a great ideal. However, I
can't > put them anyplace where they don't bug my leg.

Well, everybody I ride with has fixed theirs like mine. I turn them
*inside out* so the flatter side of the buckle is *away* from my leg and
towards the saddle. The buckle closes downward, and I place it below my
knee, above my calf. (the buckle is on the inside of the loop, against
the saddle with the otherside of the loop laying on top against my
leg)There is a majic spot there where I NEVER get any sort of rub
whatsoever. Surely on someone with longer legs than mine the majic spot
is even bigger. It does make the buckle make a groove in your saddle so
if you're obsessive about your saddle you may not like it but I'd rather
have a groove in it than my leg!
