My way is the easiest, although more expensive, I have the vet do it when he comes to do shots and stuff........................mb

If you are not sure how your horse will react to sheath cleaning. Have someone pick up the front foot on the same side you are working on. I will make it more difficult for him to kick you (I said more difficult, not impossible). I would not recommend picking up the opposite foot as it is fairly easy for an agile horse to stand on two (opposite feet) and still kick.
