Re: [RC] Camping Hint - Sharon Levasseur

Also, a company I used to work for would put a sheet of fabric softener (ie
Bounce etc) in the clean cooler before storing it away. Seemed to work very
well.

The drawback, though, is that you have to start with a clean cooler. ;-)

I have a great new tip to pass along to the ridecampers, I found this
discovery yesterday when I looked in the cooler.

To keep your cooler smelling clean and fresh WITHOUT cleaning it for 3
weeks after you get home.

Cut up one large lime(leftover from the beer at last ride) be sure to let
it out of the bag to mix and mingle with all the leftover food and drinks and
melted ice.

And that's it !!!! Opening the cooler will no longer be a dreaded and
disgusting act. It smells like Citrus, only drawback is the water will be
green and slightly slimy. So don't be alarmed at the color.

Hope that this is helpful during the summer rides !!!!

Jody (who has to clean that out this evening )
