Re: [Norton AntiSpam] Re: [RC] Truman's not that old, just hasa good memory - Truman Prevatt

He did. He also wrote and sang "The Games People Play." For other people he wrote "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden", "Down in the Boondocks" and as you mention "Hush" for Deep Purple. He also had a unique blues style on the guitar and played on "Chain of Fools," behind Aretha Franklin played guitar on Bob Dylan's "Blond on Blond."

And from all I remember from my High School graduation, Jerry Garcia could have spoke.

Truman

Truman Prevatt wrote:

I'm dating myself here, but there is an old Joe South song - "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" that says it pretty well:

"If I could be you and you could be me for just one hour
If we could find a way to get inside each other's mind
If you could see me through your eyes instead of your ego
I believe you'd be surprised to see that you'd been blind.

Walk a mile in my shoes, walk a mile in my shoes
And before you abuse, criticize and accuse
Walk a mile in my shoes...."

Truman

1969 I think. He also wrote "Hush" the first Deep Purple hit before they turned into a hard rock act with "Smoke on the Water"
