To add to Dawn's excellent summation:
If you ride with another horse, don't let them stop when your horse does--and don't stop your horse when they stop for a bite. The grazing horse will want to grab a bite and then go after the moving horse. If they both get their heads down together, it's much harder to get them back! They'll quickly pick up on the routine.
