Golly, Rob, I guess you're saying that breeding/bloodlines is the most important, since you've gotta breed a jack to a mare to get a mule....  ;-)
 
BTW, your description of why you ride mules is pretty much why I ride Arabs, too--they are team players, they believe in democracy, and they often offer very worthwhile input into the decision-making process.  I always figured anybody who had a good half-Arab mule was in fat city.

I understand that all the poll choises are important. With that said you
just want to know what one thing is most important. I marked other. I
couldn't find a spot to mark size of ears. That's the one thing that's most
important to me.

By now you all know I love mules. But it needs to be said that mules aren't
for everyone. They have some great points and some quirks. Mules aren't a
breed. There are more different sizes, shapes, and types of mules than
horses.

If you want a partner, like a wife, who will share in the decision making.
You'll like a mule. It will trust your decision only when you have proven
your trust worthy. Listen to the mule. sometimes when you disagree the mule
may be right. Sometimes you need to just stop what your doing and discuss
it.

If your looking for something like a maid or cook that can be trained to
follow your every order without hesitation, DON'T GET A MULE! If you have
ever tried to require a spouse to follow your every order, you will know
what happens when the wrong person get a mule.
