Technically you are correct, Pauline, that there is a 
difference between a "half arab" and an "arab cross."  The 
Arabian registry has a registry for "half arabs," which must 
have one one pureblood parent. 

Yes, so a registered 1/2 Arab is at least 50% Arab, but they can also be
more. If you breed an Arab to a 50% Arab, 50% not, you get a 75% Arab which
is still reg'd as a 1/2 Arab, and so on. Now, get into Anglo Arabs and it's
even more complex :-0

So in essence Pauline, you can have more than 50% Arab lineage, but never
less, if you are speaking of a registered Half-Arab.
