I have a horse that statement wouldn't apply to and I'm sure there are more 
out there. My guy's sire is a registered arab, dam is registered half arab, 
registered pinto (other half is paint) and he is gaited to boot. I can 
register him but I don't know if I ever will. Anyway not all unregistered 
horses are guesses on their bloodlines.
