Re: [RC] Protection of leather saddle in bad weather - Sisu West Ranch

".... Other Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax & Castor Oil...."

I love that ingredient list. No matter what your belief in the virtues of "Organic" food stuffs, you are not going to ingest this material. If the essential oils didn't make you sick, the Castor Oil would surely make you loose!

Now Virgin Olive oil means that it comes from the first cold pressing of the olives, and has more flavor and aroma. I can't remember how some of this oil became "Extra Virgin", which of course is a mind blowing concept in its own right. Since it is not going to be eaten, or even smelled with all the essential oils present, I again fail to see any use in this formula.

Please note, I do not doubt that this material will work well for both its intended usage and as a leather conditioner. Olive oil and beeswax were used by the Roman Legions on their tack.
