Re: [RC] Heart Rate monitor and center fire rigging - Truman PrevattAdam,This really depends on the horse. I had a horse I could put the grith electrode on the right or the left anyplace on the girth and it didn't matter. I could even put both electrodes under the saddle and it worked fine. I have another where it will only work if the girth electrod in about a 4 square inch area down very low on the girth. I don't know if it would work on a center fire rigging since his girth grove is too far for a center fire rigging to start with. The only thing to do is to try it and see. It seems to me that the girth is to far back to pick up the heart beat well, what do others who use center fire rigging do who want to use a HRM? -- "Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true." - Bertrand Russell =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
